Optimizing dynamic yaw controls.

When onboarding a 60 turbine wind farm in the U.S., Clir reviewed the dynamic yaw controls of all turbines and found that two were tracking the wind much closer than the others, leading to a parameter change. Clir’s analysis led to:

• Implementation of optimized dynamic yaw controls.

• 1.5 per cent increase in annual energy production.

• 4,500 MWh annual gain for the wind farm.
